In 2023, TCT created the Dee Ward Scholarship Fund to honor a founding member of our organization, Dee Ward. Dee made the children of TCT her priority, making sure all who wanted to participate could and that they were loved and encouraged along the way. The Dee Ward Scholarship Fund creates opportunities for anyone with a love of theatre to learn and grow as a part of our organization.
Through the generosity of donors to the Dee Ward Scholarship Fund, children in the community can receive need-based financial aid to participate in any TCT programming including main-stage performances, after-school programming, workshops, our ensemble and summer camps.
If you would like to contribute to the Dee Ward Scholarship Fund, you can make a Paypal donation on our website, noting the Dee Ward Scholarship Fund in the notes or by contacting tct.execdir@gmail.com.
Before registering for the class or camp, you must complete the online scholarship form. If applying for a scholarship for a main-stage performance, you will need to submit this application prior to your audition. All sections must be completed fully and accurately. If more than one student in a family is applying for assistance, a separate application is needed for each student. Click here to fill out online form.
As part of your application, you must submit a copy a Form 4506-T, which grants TCT the ability to request a copy of your tax records. The completed form needs to be emailed to tct.execdir@gmail.com.
Partial and fully-funded scholarships are available to those who qualify. Applications are reviewed bi-weekly, and you will be notified via email regarding your scholarship application. That award email will include personalized instructions on how to register for the class online. Do not register online prior to receiving this award email.
